This is our second last part of the series of "Savour Stories" with Siobhan Sugrue Donohoe - since November we travelled the whole county, meeting #local producers and farmers. Today, Siobhan is meeting Julian of Hughes Farms. The farm is a fully integrated grow, process and supply business in the fresh produce industry that supplies all of the major retail multiples in Ireland and exports to North America, Europe and the UK. The farm grows various vegetables ranging from carrots, parsnips, onions, pumpkin and cereals. Hughes Farming was the 2018 Kilkenny Agribusiness and overall Business of the Year.
